Now here's an umbrella that even Catwoman would want to accessorize with! I came across this unusual piece on a French written blog. They gave the name "Batapluie" to this lovely made Batman artifact. I'm not too sure how much rain this nefty looking device would keep off, but I'm sure I could have a lot of fun with it!
Here's how this contraption opens up. I know this will definately be on my Christmas list!

I found this interesting tib bit written by JAMIE STENGLE, Associated Press Writer. He goes on to report that "DALLAS -- A 1939 comic book in which Batman makes his debut sold at auction Thursday for more than $1 million, breaking a record set just three days earlier by a Superman comic, Heritage Auction Galleries said.
The Dallas-based auction house said the rare copy of Detective Comics No. 27 sold for a total of $1,075,500, which includes the buyer's premium, to a buyer who wished to remain anonymous. The consigner wanted to remain anonymous as well."
I find this very exciting to know that Batman has outdone Super Man! You can view the full article at: http://www.news4jax.com/entertainment/22675623/detail.html
Be sure to check it out!

The critical and sales hit Batman Arkham Asylum put its UK-based development team Rocksteady Studios on the map in 2009. Today the game's co-publisher Warner Bros. announced that they have purchased a majority interest in Rocksteady even as the team is working on a sequel to Batman Arkham Asylum. Specific financial terms were not disclosed.
