The UK-developed Batman: Arkham Asylum was crowned best game at the Bafta Video Game awards ceremony in London.
The computer game, which featuring the DC Comics superhero battling a host of familiar foes like the Joker, lso won the gameplay award.
The awards, which are voted by members of the game industry, in a very similar way to how the movie BAFTAs are decided, decide the best games of the last year.
The game, which sees Batman take on old enemies in Gotham's asylum, also picked up the Bafta award for best gameplay.
